Finary Life is now available in self-directed mode

Life insurance is France's favorite investment vehicle, with over 50 million contracts and €2,100 billion in assets under management. Yet the vast majority of savers lack control over how their money is invested. They delegate to fund managers, have access to only a handful of investment supports, and pay high fees.

That changes today with self-directed investing.

Self-directed investing is here

At Finary, we believe life insurance deserves more transparency. And since the launch of Finary Life, one request kept coming back from you: the ability to choose your own investment supports and build your allocation independently.

Today, it's done. The e-vie life insurance contract, distributed by Finary under the name Finary Life, is now available in self-directed mode.

A comprehensive offering to build your allocation

You can now build your own portfolio within Finary Life, with a broad investment universe and competitive fees:

  • 700+ investment supports: ETFs, funds, private equity...
  • 0 entry, arbitrage and contribution fees
  • 0 transaction fees, including on ETFs
  • 0.50% annual management fees on unit-linked funds
  • Netissima Euro fund with a return capped at 4.5% net of management fees in 2026 and 2027, subject to conditions
  • Starting from €150 with a recurring contribution

Investing in unit-linked funds involves a risk of capital loss, as their value may fluctuate up or down depending on financial market conditions. The insurer commits to the number of units, not their value, which it does not guarantee. Past performance is not indicative of future results and is not constant over time.

Should you switch contracts?

You might be wondering: is Finary Life better than my current contract? Should you keep it, stop contributing, or transfer it?

With our new simulator, get the answer in 30 seconds. We analyze your contract and compare it with Finary Life, taking into account your investor profile, fees and tax drag, to help you make an informed and transparent decision.

Fees on life insurance contracts are a real burden. The average total recurring cost of unit-linked life insurance contracts amounts to 3% per year in France, according to a study by the independent research firm Good Value for Money. Finary Life's annual management fees on unit-linked funds are just 0.50%.

For illustration purposes only, based on a simplified assumption of €50,000 invested over 30 years with a constant gross annual return of 7% (a non-guaranteed assumption provided for educational purposes), the fee difference results in a significant gap in final capital: €168,500.

This simulation is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Past performance is not indicative of future results and is not constant over time. Actual returns will depend on financial market conditions and the investment supports chosen. Investing in unit-linked funds involves a risk of capital loss.
